Yes, I again went to a thrift store with my mom. I couldn’t help it! My mom and I were picking up my brother from a friend’s house and she realized that there were 2 (two) thrift stores in the town. So needless to say we decided to check them out.
There were okay. The book selection was so-so and the prices were kind of high for thrift stores. Luckily, I managed to find some gems and my mom managed to find some frames! (She repurposes frames and creates super amazing stuff with them! One of these days, I’ll take some pictures of them and share them with you guys! My mom is so creative!)
So without further ado, here are the books I got from the thrift stores. I did get a few books from this weekend at a dollar store, my mom bought me a book, a town garage sale thing (which is one of the books I need for my popsugar reading challenge!) and my hometown thrift store but I didn’t take a picture of them/write them down so I’ll add them to my March monthly wrap up.
∇ The Alloy of Law by Brandon Sanderson: I was actually really excited to find this because I have been wanting to get back into the Mistborn world.
∇ You Should Have Known by Jean Hanff Korelitz: This is a total picked off the shelf based on a whim. It sounded pretty interesting and I liked the cover.
∇ Linger by Maggie Stiefvater: Yeah, I haven’t read the first book yet but I couldn’t resist picking this up. It was in PRISTINE condition. Something almost unheard of with thrift store books.
∇ Hide and Seek by Sara Shepard: I am such trash for Sara Shepard even though her books are pretty similar to each other. I needed this book to continue with my Lying Game series.
∇ The Angel Experiment (Maximum Ride Book: 1): I am such trash for this series and have been diligently trying to collect them all. This brings my total up to three, including the second book down below.
∇ School’s Out-Forever (Maximum Ride Book: 2): I am so pumped to have found this series again. I can’t wait to finally get them all and re-read them.
∇ The Tenth Circle by Jodi Picoult: I adore this author and will continue to get all her books with no shame whatsoever.
